Johan Hagaman is a Nashville sculptor and mixed-media artist who works in concrete, paper, and found objects. Johan has both a bachelor's and a master's degree in English from Indiana University. After a year of teaching English in the US and two years in the Peace Corps in Sierra Leone, West, Africa, she turned her love of stories and poetry into objects of art. She has her work in private and public collections, and is represented by Hidell Brooks Gallery (Charlotte, NC) and Sue Greenwood Fine Art  (Lagune Beach, CA).
